I want to encourage you with something I was recently reminded of: 

Ask the Lord what He wants you to carry.

What are you carrying that Jesus hasn't asked you to carry? Just because it was your responsibility last year doesn’t mean it’s yours right now. Just because you seem to be the best fit doesn’t mean you should do it. Just because you really like it doesn’t mean you should pursue it. Perhaps there is a “just because” that you can add to your own list.

Listen, Jesus isn’t trying to give us an escape from our responsibilities. He knows what he wants us to do which is why, when we pause long enough, we can recognize and understand his guidance. In some way or another, he may very well be saying, “Dear child, put that down.”
